Instructions
- Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm milk and sugar; let it sit until bubbly.
- In a large bowl, combine the activated yeast with eggs and melted butter.
- Gradually add flour and salt, kneading until the dough is soft and slightly tacky.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough, spread apple butter over it, sprinkle sugars and cinnamon, then roll up tightly.
- Cut into pieces, place them in a baking pan, and allow them to rise again until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F for 18–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare frosting by blending cream cheese, powdered sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon; drizzle over warm rolls.
