Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Line each muffin tin cup with puff pastry.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and flour; cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat and mix in egg yolks, vanilla extract, lemon peel, and salt.
- Fill each pastry cup about three-quarters full with custard.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the tops are dark golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving; sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
