- 1 vanilla cake mix
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 tbsp corn starch
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cups strawberries (chopped)
- 4 cups pineapple (chopped)
- 4 bananas (sliced)
- 2–3 cups whipped topping
- 8–10 cherries
Instructions
- To prepare the pudding, combine milk, sugar, corn starch, salt, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until thickened, then remove from heat and add butter until melted. Let cool.
- In your serving dish (trifle bowl or Mason jars), layer cubed vanilla cake followed by cooled pudding, chopped strawberries, and pineapple chunks. Repeat layers until full.
- Finish by topping with sliced bananas, whipped topping, and a cherry.
