Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 large prawns (shelled and deveined)
  • 12 chillies (to taste)
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh crusty bread of your choice for dipping in the sauce

Instructions

  1. Start your BBQ grill by lighting firelighters and adding charcoal until hot.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, combine olive oil, grated garlic, finely sliced chillies, lemon zest, and juice. Cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Marinate the prawns in half of the garlic mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Once coals are white hot, grill the prawns for about 1 minute on each side until pink and charred.
  5. Drizzle remaining garlic mixture over cooked prawns and serve immediately with lemon wedges and crusty bread.
