Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Add beef to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.
- Add marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned but not fully cooked.
- Incorporate onion and rainbow peppers into the wok; stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot over rice or noodles.
