- 3 large apples, peeled and cubed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 sheets frozen puff pastry (thawed)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons whole milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Thaw the puff pastry for at least 30 minutes.
- In a small saucepan over high heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Add the apples and cinnamon; simmer until tender (about 5-7 minutes). Let cool.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C); line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut each pastry sheet into four squares and shape them into bowls by folding up the sides.
- Fill each bowl with apple mixture and bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled pastries before serving.
