Instructions
- Spray a 9×13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until combined; scatter in the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs and whisk in milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well mixed.
- Add diced French bread to the custard mixture and toss gently until coated. Pour into the prepared pan, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake uncovered for about 25-30 minutes until bubbling and lightly browned on top.
- Invert onto a serving platter and drizzle with additional caramel or maple syrup if desired.
