Instructions
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente, then rinse with cold water and drain.
- Dice the red bell pepper, onion, and celery; combine in a large bowl with pimientos.
- Grate the carrot and add it to the vegetable mix.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and white sugar in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Mix all vegetables with the dressing and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Fold in diced cheddar cheese and chilled pasta until well combined.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to enhance flavors.
