- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and mix in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt; mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually incorporate flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips.

- Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center remains gooey. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
