- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ¼ cups light brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ¾ cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 16 oz chocolate melting wafers
- assorted special occasion sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy using an electric mixer.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well; then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture; fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for about 12 minutes until edges are golden brown; cool on wire racks.
- Dip cooled cookies halfway into melted chocolate wafers and sprinkle with festive decorations.
