Instructions

  1. Prepare the cranberry jam by simmering cranberries, granulated sugar, and water until thickened. Cool completely.
  2. Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Combine the flours, salt, and chopped dried cranberries in another bowl, then mix into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  4. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling out to about 1/8 inch thick and cutting into desired shapes.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
