Instructions
- In a hot skillet, combine olive oil and butter. Sear chicken pieces until golden brown on all sides (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic, onion, and mushrooms until softened (4-5 minutes).
- Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up flavorful bits. Stir in Dijon mustard.
- Lower heat and add heavy cream; simmer until thickened (5-6 minutes).
- Return seared chicken to the skillet; coat well in sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
