- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by mixing flour and salt in a bowl. Add vegetable oil and gradually incorporate water until you form a firm dough. Let it rest covered for 30 minutes.
- For the filling, sauté onions, garlic, ginger, and spices in oil until fragrant. Add boiled potatoes and peas; mix well and season with lemon juice and salt. Let it cool.
- Roll out the dough into thin circles and cut them in half to form cones. Fill with the cooled vegetable mixture and seal edges tightly.
- Fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown (about 4–5 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
