  • ¾ cup celery

  • 2 (15 oz) cans crushed tomatoes

  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (16 oz) box ditalini pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain, chop, and add to the slow cooker.
  2. In the slow cooker, combine diced onions, sliced carrots, diced celery, minced garlic, crushed tomatoes, drained beans, chicken broth, salt, pepper, thyme, basil, parsley, and tomato paste. Stir well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  4. Add uncooked ditalini pasta during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Stir to ensure even cooking.
  5. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
