- 1 egg yolk

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In one bowl, mix flour, baking soda, arrowroot powder, and sea salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and raw cane sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture; mix until smooth.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture; fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for approximately 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
