Instructions
- Wash the apples thoroughly and dry them completely.
- Insert wooden sticks into the tops of each apple securely.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup; heat over medium until dissolved. Boil until it reaches 300°F.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Divide syrup into bowls; add food coloring to create desired shades.
- Dip each apple into colored syrup until fully coated; allow excess to drip off.
- Place on parchment paper; sprinkle with toppings if desired.
- Let cool completely before serving.
