- 2 ripe tomatoes (sliced)
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese (sliced)
- 2 ripe avocados (sliced)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and dry the tomatoes and basil leaves. Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds.
- Slice the fresh mozzarella into similar thickness as the tomatoes.
- Halve the avocados, remove pits, scoop out flesh, and slice into wedges.
- On a platter, layer tomato slices, mozzarella slices, avocado wedges, and basil leaves.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor.
