- 12 large hard-boiled eggs
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 small carrot (for decoration)
- 6 black olives (for decoration)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp salt (or to taste)
Instructions
- Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice off a tiny layer from the base of each egg for stability. Cut one-third off the top of each egg.
- Use a fork to mash the yolks in a mixing bowl, then mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
- Fill a Ziploc or pastry bag with the yolk mixture and pipe into each egg base.
- Replace the tops of the eggs gently. For decoration, use a plastic straw to create olive eyes and cut carrot rings into small wedges for beaks.
- Arrange on a platter and garnish with fresh herbs.
