- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add diced onion, and sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula and cooking until browned (about 5–6 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in beef broth, adding salt and black pepper to taste; let simmer for about 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Combine cooked pasta with the beef mixture in the skillet, tossing well to coat everything evenly.
- Serve hot topped with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley.
