Ingredients
- 1 (9 oz) package cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 medium head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Cook the cheese tortellini in boiling salted water according to package instructions. In the last two minutes, add the broccoli florets. Drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the drained tortellini and broccoli to the skillet. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the mixture, stirring until melted and well-coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
