- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate (chopped)
- 2–3 tbsp rainbow candy-coated chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, melt butter over low heat, then mix in sugars until combined. Add cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla; stir until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated. Gently fold in flour and cornstarch until no dry spots remain.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream and chopped chocolate in a saucepan until melted and smooth; add salt.
- Once brownies have slightly cooled, pour ganache on top and sprinkle rainbow chips before setting.
