Ingredients
- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers (rinsed)
- 8 cups water (divided)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine rinsed hibiscus flowers, 4 cups of water, and sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Strain the hibiscus flowers using a colander, saving them for later use if desired.
- Stir in the remaining 4 cups of water into the strained tea.
- Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Serve over ice for a refreshing drink.
