- 1/3 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, cornstarch, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Grease a baking dish and layer half of the sweet potato slices evenly at the bottom.
- Pour half of the creamy mixture over the first layer of sweet potatoes.
- Repeat with the remaining sweet potatoes and creamy mixture.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
