- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cups hot water
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (to taste)
- Cold brew coffee
Instructions
- Grind uncooked brown rice in a blender until fine. Add slivered almonds, cinnamon stick, and hot water; stir well.
- Let the mixture cool and sit for at least three hours or overnight.
- Blend soaked mixture with cold milk and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Adjust sweetness as needed.
- Strain into a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Fill a glass with ice, pour in cold brew coffee, then add horchata on top. Stir gently and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
