- 8 oz tagliatelle pasta
- 4 oz crispy chicken bacon
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella, torn into pieces
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tagliatelle in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (about 3-4 minutes for fresh pasta). Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken bacon until crispy (4-5 minutes). Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Add drained tagliatelle to the skillet and toss with chicken bacon and garlic.
- Mix in mozzarella and basil, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with black pepper before serving hot.
