- 4 boneless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Trim fat from chicken breasts, rinse under cold water, and pat dry.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Marinate the chicken in half of the sauce for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (375°F). Grill or bake the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- In a saucepan, heat the remaining marinade and stir in cornstarch mixed with a little water until thickened.
- Serve the grilled chicken drizzled with the prepared Dragon Sauce.
