- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth

- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until pink and opaque (about 3 minutes per side).
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add fresh basil.
- Combine cooked pasta with the shrimp sauce in the skillet, mixing well to coat everything evenly.
