Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Gather all ingredients and preheat a skillet over medium heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Sear the salmon: Add olive oil to the skillet, then place salmon skin-side down. Cook for about 6 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Make the sauce: Remove salmon and add minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and lemon zest. Simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Finish the dish: Stir in fresh dill before returning the salmon to the skillet for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve: Plate the salmon and drizzle generously with lemon cream sauce.
