Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Sift in the flour gradually while mixing; fold in nuts if using.
- Form small balls of dough (about 1 tablespoon each) and place them on the baking sheet, spaced two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Roll cooled cookies in powdered sugar before serving.
