  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Broth (optional)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Gruyère Cheese
  • 1 large Egg (or cream/milk)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by sautéing diced onion in butter and olive oil until softened. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until tender. Season with thyme, salt, pepper, and broth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, Gruyère cheese, and parsley with the cooled mushroom mixture.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle and cut slits along the sides. Spread filling down the center and braid the pastry over it.
  4. Brush with egg wash and bake for about 22 minutes until golden brown.
