- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1–2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Peel and chop the potato into large chunks. Steam for 10-15 minutes until soft.
- Make the Dough Mixture: In a mixing bowl, mash the steamed potatoes with rice flour, sugar, and salt until well combined.
- Shape the Hotteok: Scoop some dough into your palm, flatten it slightly, place shredded mozzarella cheese in the center, wrap the dough around it, and pinch to seal.
- Cook the Hotteok: Roll each filled dough ball into a flat pancake shape. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry each side until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
