Instructions
- Prepare the glasses by wetting the rims with a lemon slice and dipping them in granulated sugar.
- Make simple syrup by combining sugar, water, and 2 oz of lemon juice in a saucepan. Simmer until dissolved, then cool.
- In a mocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 2 oz fresh lemon juice, 1 oz triple sec substitute, and 2 oz simple syrup. Shake well.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
