Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Cream the butter and sugars until smooth, then add the egg and vanilla extract until fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until fully combined.
- Divide dough into three parts—keep one plain, mix cocoa powder into another, and add strawberry powder (and optional red coloring) to the last portion.
- Shape each flavor into small cylinders and sandwich them together to form balls.
- Roll each cookie ball in granulated sugar before placing them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes until lightly golden; cool before serving.
