Instructions
- Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and peppermint extract; mix until smooth.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about one hour until firm.
- Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Melt the chocolate as per package instructions, then dip each ball into the melted chocolate.
- Place dipped truffles on wax paper and sprinkle with crushed candy canes immediately.
- Chill again for one hour until set.
