Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into four squares.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each square and top with fruit preserves.
- Fold corners toward the center and pinch to seal.
- Whisk egg and water together; brush over each danish.
- Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze; drizzle over warm danishes before serving.
