Instructions

- Place one sheet of puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spread Nutella evenly over the first layer of puff pastry.
- Layer the second sheet of puff pastry on top.
- Cut out a special occasion tree shape using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, and create decorative star shapes from scraps.
- Cut 1-inch strips along the sides of the tree and twist them gently to add texture.
- Brush the assembled tree with an egg wash (or plant-based milk).
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving warm.
