- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 20 mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin puree, and butter.
- Cook over medium heat while stirring continuously until it reaches a gentle boil.
- Keep stirring for about 15 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Check for readiness by running a spatula through the mixture; if it takes about 5 seconds to come back together, it's done.
- Transfer to a plate and cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour until firm.
- With buttered hands, scoop and roll the mixture into small balls.
- Use a toothpick to create pumpkin-like dents and place a mini chocolate chip on top as a stem.
