Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a pie-style pan.
- Sift together unbleached and almond flours in a bowl; set aside.
- Dice two apples into small cubes; slice three apples thinly for the rosette.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs with brown and cane sugars until combined.
- Add almond milk and melted butter to the egg mixture; stir in sifted flours until smooth.
- Mix in cinnamon and baking powder, then gently fold in diced apples.
- Pour batter into prepared pan; arrange sliced apples on top in a rosette pattern.
- Brush melted caramel sauce over apple slices; sprinkle with salt and sugar.
- Bake for approximately 45 minutes until golden brown; cool before serving.
