- 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth or chicken broth
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel them if desired.
- Place the potatoes in the slow cooker and sprinkle with Lipton onion soup mix.
- Pour the beef or chicken broth over the potatoes and dot with butter pieces.
- Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
