Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry filling by cooking strawberries with lemon juice and sugar until thickened. Blend until smooth and refrigerate.
- In a stand mixer, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm milk, softened butter, and egg; knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the cooled strawberry filling over it. Roll tightly and cut into slices.
- Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for about an hour.
- Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cold strawberry puree until smooth.
- Spread glaze over warm rolls before serving.
