Instructions
- Prepare the batter by mixing dry ingredients (cake flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) in one bowl. In another bowl, whisk together wet ingredients (egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract) until combined. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just blended.
- Preheat your taiyaki pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Fill one side of the pan halfway with batter, add your desired filling in the center, then cover with more batter. Close the pan and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Carefully remove from the pan and serve warm.
