Instructions
- Begin by browning the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and aromatic; let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the white and brown sugars with the cooled butter. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in both types of chocolate chips gently.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden; let cool briefly before transferring to wire racks.
