Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 20 oz package of cheese tortellini, cooked according to package directions
Instructions
- Toss chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken, and cook until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic, and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Stir in heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Reduce heat and add cream cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan; stir until melted.
- Mix in smoked paprika and black pepper. Add cooked tortellini and fold in the chicken until well combined.
- Let simmer for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
