- 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 4 large eggs
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp strawberry extract
- Red food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil; mix until well blended.
- In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until creamy.
- Pour half of the strawberry batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over it, then add the remaining batter on top.
- Use a knife or spatula to swirl through the layers gently.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While baking, prepare frosting by mixing powdered sugar, milk, strawberry extract, and food coloring.
- Once cooled, frost your cake and enjoy!
