Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch cake pan.

- In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternating with milk until smooth.
- In a saucepan, melt remaining butter with brown sugar until bubbly, then pour into the cake pan.
- Arrange banana slices over the caramel layer in the pan.
- Pour cake batter over bananas and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and set in the middle.
- Cool for about 10 minutes before flipping onto a serving plate.
