  • 35 caramel squares
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for about 90 seconds.
  3. Whisk in brown sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  5. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, melt caramels with heavy cream in another bowl until smooth (about 4-5 minutes).
  8. After the base layer bakes, sprinkle chocolate chips over it.
  9. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over chocolate chips.
  10. Crumble remaining oat mixture on top evenly.
  11. Bake again for another 15-18 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
