- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for about 90 seconds.
- Whisk in brown sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Pour half of the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt caramels with heavy cream in another bowl until smooth (about 4-5 minutes).
- After the base layer bakes, sprinkle chocolate chips over it.
- Drizzle warm caramel sauce over chocolate chips.
- Crumble remaining oat mixture on top evenly.
- Bake again for another 15-18 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Cool completely before slicing.
