Instructions
- Warm the milk to between 105°F and 110°F, then mix with yeast and let sit until frothy.
- Combine sugar, flour, butter, salt, and egg in the yeast mixture; mix until dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread strawberry preserves followed by diced strawberries.
- Roll tightly into a log and cut into equal pieces. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet to rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare glaze by mixing cream cheese, softened butter, confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
