- 1 stick unsalted butter

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder; then gradually mix into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before preparing the frosting.
- Mix instant coffee granules with heavy cream in a small bowl; set aside.
- Beat unsalted butter until fluffy; gradually add powdered sugar until smooth, then mix in the coffee cream until desired consistency is reached.
- Frost cooled brownies generously before serving.
