Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the crust ingredients: butter, powdered sugar, flour, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 25 minutes, until the edges are golden.
- For the filling, beat together the granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, whole egg, and egg yolks until frothy. Stir in baking powder and flour.
- Pour the mixture over the cooled crust and bake for an additional 20-23 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into squares.
