Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of beef turkey bacon
- 1 apple, sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef turkey bacon until crispy (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer one slice of cheddar cheese, crispy beef turkey bacon, thin apple slices, drizzle with hot honey, and top with another slice of cheddar cheese. Place another slice of bread on top (buttered side facing up).
- Grill the sandwich in the skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese begins to melt.
- Carefully flip using a spatula and grill the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from skillet, cut in half, and serve.
